Hello
I have this system:
I7 4790
Gigabyte H97M HD3
Hynix 16 gb (2*8) 1600 Mhz
SSD 250 gb
1T drive
NZXT H230+ FSP 650 W Raider

I want to buy a video card for video editing (1080P, no necessary for 4K and 3D).
I started learning Avid and Premier CC.
My budget is pretty low and my options are:

1)GTX 750 (TI or regular)
2)GTX 660
3)R7 260X
4)7870

I can give extra money for GTX 950 if it worth it.

I hope someone can help me, I am really confuse about it.

Thanks a lot!

Solution
It can- depending on the software. Mine can video edit 1080p in Movie Maker, but in After Effects its laughable. Get the 950 or higher if you want to be successful.

Thanks for comment,
I sorry for the questions because I am new at video editing field.
So you recommend to give the extra money and buy the 950 (960 is really above my budget).
I heard for someone I know that the upgrade worth it for gaming but not for video editing.

There is a video editing benchmark?

Thanks again

I don't know how valid that statement was, but all I know I can't edit at 1080p on a 750Ti EVGA with i5 4690k 4.4GHz. It still only has 2GB of VRAM so thats why the 960 4GB would be allot better for editing.

See if you can find a gtx 770 (perhaps used?) for a good price as that would outperform by quite much the gtx 950 in video editing. Other wise go for a gtx 950. In terms of benchmarks it is pretty difficult to find video editing benchmarks of gaming consumer gpu's. Perhaps search the on tomshardware as sometimes they do that. Also it depends a lot on the program used. (For Avid and Premier CC I would pick an Nvidia GPU).
