I'm a huge fan of fallout games. And since the new system requirements of Fallout 4 are realesed I'm building a new PC. Should I get AMD ATHLON II X4 860K or AMD FX-6300 for 20€ more? Will it improve performance more? And is it worth it?

Here's the part list: https://www.1a.lt/order/shopping_cart

You have a bit of time to prepare. I am usually an AMD fan, but I would suggest something different and getting a Skylake i3-6300 instead. They should be appearing sometime this month.

EDIT: I can't see your cart. Do you already have the AMD motherboard?

If you already own the AMD motherboard I probably wouldn't choose anything less than the FX 8350.
The latest i3 processors will beat both AMD processors that you mentioned, and I've talked to a lot of people on these forums with less than an FX 8350 who have been disappointed by their frame rate.

If building an entirely new system (you don't have a motherboard for the FX 8350/ or Fx 8320, as I really don't recommend fx 6300). I suggest you go for the new Skylake cpu's (maybe an i3 6300 but i really recommend to save some more for an i5) What is your budget maybe I can help you with your build.
P.S. If you don't have budget for the i5, I really recommend to go intel i3 Skylake(you can always upgrade to an i5 or i7 later) as the FX 8350 is pretty outdated and does not have possible upgrade (I don't consider the Fx 9590 a smart upgrade).

The 860K is a newer Kaveri/Steamroller core and the 6300 is an older Vishera/Piledriver core.
Athlon 860K gets a score of 1586 per core at stock speeds
The FX 6300 gets just 1413 per core.
I'd say get the 860K

I see your budget is really tight. Well with the AMD 6-core and the AMD 4-core its hard to tell which is better. The 6 core is better for things that need 4 cores or more and the 4-core is better for things that only need one or two cores.

However you should be safe with the cheaper 860k on a budget build.

My personal preference would be to get a bigger case (SPEC 2 or 3 if you like Corsair), a better power supply (at least 600w) and a skylake i3 setup so I would have more room to upgrade, but if you don't have the money and you want it in the next 30 days then you can't do much better.
Unless you can get someone to give you a cheap monitor?
If you get someone to give you a monitor you can spend more money on good parts now. There should be a few unused ones around your local area.

Thanks. I guess I'm sticking with my current list. i3-6300 would be fine, but its LGA1151 motherboards are a bit too expensive. When I will need to upgrade, I will probably build a new PC.
