So I'm in the market for a new power supply at the moment and I've come across a Cooler Master 500w Extreme PSU. the price is quite reasonable for the 500w of power it produces... (in Australia). I haven't heard much about them but I know that cooler master are a good company, so my question is.... is this power supply worth the chance? I don't have a powerful rig.

PC Specs:
Geforce GTX750Ti
8.0GB DDR3 memory
AMD A8-5600K
(Currently a crappy "600"w PSU)

Coolermaster has some good models, thats not one of them though.

I looked through that site for you and found the Coolermaster G650M or the V550, they do cost quite a bit more, but they are the cheapest ones on that site I would reccomend. Don't buy any of the Corsair units in that price range they are known for problems.

it can definitely run your computer but i don't think it would energy efficient nor last you because that cooler master power doesn't even seem legit compared to the v550 if i were you i would just buy a higher wattage with a more reliable look or just go on gumtree or somthing like that
