I recently bought a new mobo M5A78L-M/USB3 from a M4N75TD and the bios are abit different from each other, but my real question is the VCORE Voltage won't let me change it in the bios like the other motherboard but I found a thing called CPU over Voltage and I was wondering is that what I put up instead, and also do I disable the Cool 'N Quiet because on my other mobo I had to disable it to get the cores to be stable and here's some pictures to show you guys what I'm talking about, and the cpu is going from a x2 to a x4.

Thanks, B.

you must set cpu overclocking to manual and you can then change the voltages and everything else as well.
and with cool n quite you must stress the system to make it run @ max mhx/voltage. cause it throttles "keeping cool and quiet" when not in use, come in handy to extend the like of you cpu.

so I change the CPU over Voltage or will I be able to change the VCore voltage then?

yes and then it will alway remain at that voltage. but watch it it may also change other things in your bios such as ram voltage ram spd settings. so if it dosent post, there is a setting messed up some where. i think" the things that are affected are then in red and flashing, if you know your specs then change it back to spec ans ignore the warnigs. if all esle fails reset bios. oh and turn off cool n quiet

okay, so disable the cool n' quiet but I just confused myself with my own question lol, so I change the CPU over Voltage or the VCore voltage?

i've done this before with my other motherboard with no problem I'm not trying to overclock or anything I'm just trying to open my cores so that they're stable and I'm just unsure of the CPU over Voltage and VCore Voltage.

Use "Optimal Defaults" in your BIOS. Then use AMD Overdrive, which has a very simple sliding scale bar (Or if your a professional you can set every concern you desire) If AMD Overdrive did not come on the motherboard disk, do a google and download it. Quiet mode should not be used if your a heavy gamer.
