So my computer was running slow and was crashing often, so I decided to re-install my windows. The whole installation process went well, until I tried to connect to the internet - it wouldn't let me. I spent hours trying to figure out what is wrong, then explored the device manager and under "other devices" I saw "Ethernet Controller" with an exclamation mark, and noticed that it did not have any drivers and it would not let me to update or install drivers, I tried looking for solutions online, but could not find anything.... Please help - thanks in advance !

Solution
The disk that came with your motherboard has the Ethernet driver on it. If your PC was a pre-built, the disk that came with it should also have the Ethernet driver on it.
