Hi,

I just installed a new CPU and a new cooler, now the PC won't boot.

First, my system:

- Motherboard: ASRock n68c-gs fx
- CPU: AMD Athlon II x4 630
- HSF: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo
- RAM: 2x4 GB DDR2 800 Mhz
- PSU: be quiet system power 7 450W
- GPU: ATI Radeon HD 5770

So I bought both a new CPU to upgrade from my old dual core and a new cooler along with it. Installed it and now my PC won't boot. The CPU is the supported by the motherboard with the stock BIOS version and I received the correct model. Although I did buy a used version with a missing ground pin, but the vendor said it's tested and works properly. I found the checklist here, but everything is like it should be.

I tried disconnecting everything but the HSF and the CPU, but it didn't help. I don't have a system speaker, so I can't post any results. Also cleared the CMOS, nothing. The power LED is on and the fans (PSU and CPU cooler) are running, but that seems to be it - I don't hear anything else. The three lights on my keyboard did always flash up after a couple of seconds, now that stopped, too.

I'm running out of ideas now. I could test it with the old CPU, but I wanted to ask here first, maybe there's something else I could do. Thanks in advance!
