I just recently had to do a complete reinstall of windows 7 on a pc i built due to a problem after upgrading to windows 10. My question is, how can I backup everything on my ssd drive besides the actual OS (windows 7) that i run my OS on to my second hdd so that in the case of having to do a fresh install of my OS again i can take everything from my backup hdd including drivers, games, game files and just every single thing i had on my pc before a fresh install of my OS is done. Everything im finding on this question includes cloning my OS or backing up my OS along with other files or just backing up files like music, videos, and things like that but not drivers and everything needed to have my PC running just like it did prior to a fresh Win7 install. Thank you for any feedback and info regarding this question.

Cloning the drive to another drive, or creating a disk image (which obviously includes the OS & everything else you've installed on that drive) is the only way to achieve what you want.

Re-installing Windows afresh always requires you to re-install your system's drivers, plus any applications & games because the new Windows installation (and it's Registry) is completely devoid of any related folders, files & registry entries associated with them.

Cloning or disk imaging is the only way to avoid that.
