Will my GPU perform less or will it fit in PCIE 2.0 slot?

I am thinking of buying a Nvidia GTX 960 2 GB Gigabyte G1 Gaming for my PC. I currently have a Gigabyte H81M-H motherboard which supports PCIE 2.0 GPUs. So I noticed this GPU have PCIE 3.0 interface. Will I experience a performance drop? Will it rather fit?

pci ex is backwards compatible, the speed difference is minimal when used on pci 2.0 vers 3.0. upgrade your motherboard bios if you have any issues when using the new card

yep, anything over a radeon 280/gtx 960 can max out on 900p most any games.

what's your psu model and wattage please? (or your current gpu that works)

Not a renowned PSU though I have Havit 450watt PSU which came with my Case. I am going to buy a Corsair 550Watt PSU.

I'm currently running a 780ti on a PCI-E 2.0 with no issues, getting the same benchmarks I see on tech sites with faster CPU & PCI-E 3.0.
