Hi there! My wireless latency and internet suddenly is extremely slow (from 18 ping/ 28 mbits to >900 ping and 0,5 mbits), after a pc reboot it works perfectly fine again. ALL other devices in the wlan have no problem. What's the matter? It happens like once to twice a week...?

There are no interfering networks in my wlan, so I guess it's a problem with my pc. Can you give me some advice?

Thanks everybody!

P.S.: I'm a gamer and normally I can play anything without lag on my wireless connection

Hi! Windows 10 64 bit. I looked for ongoing updates, nothing happened. No data on task manager. My adapter is a strong usb 3.0 device with 2 antennas. I always have only my mouse attached and a keyboard via ps2. Any other hints?

You have a USB 3.0 device attached to a USB 2.0?

What else is connected to your USB ports?

It's a USB 3.0 attached to a USB 3.0 port. Only my mouse is attached to another 2.0 port. All other ports are empty.

When it runs slow, I'd run ping check to the router itself and see if it's the wifi that's slowing down, or the internet connection.

Task manager should show network usage. But I'd check if applications like Steam or Bittorrent are open and running updates, or any Antivirus program scanning the traffic.
