Hi all, I have a serious problem with attempting to install windows on to a new sandisk 240gb SSD. Each time I attempt to install 8.1 on to it, I am told that windows could not be installed because a partition could not be formstted, usually with the error code 0x80070057. I have adjusted settings in the bios to no avail, have reconfigured sata cables, have run diskpart and deleted all my partitions to leave only unallocated space, tried refreshing the drive selection screen, and aside from the boot USB drive the SSD is the only drive conncted, i have disconnected my HDD. I am at my wits end and just want to get s clean install, any solutions?
