Hello there,

My pc is getting slower day by day even a 720p video or skype makes my chrome browser to crash.
Few days back my hard disk made a weird sound and just stop rotating after that.
I am using Seagate laptop hard drive.

So should I buy ram for my pc or new hard disk?

I just want to use my pc for normal work watching videos on youtube, browsing, some scrapers, Codes and Skype.

Processor: Amd sdx145hbgmbox Sempron 145

Motherboard: Biostar N68S3B http://www.biostar.com.tw/app/en/mb/...p?S_ID=517#cpu

Hard Disk: Seagate 250GB

Ram: 2GB DDR3

Please help me.

Thank You

Evening,

I would suggest getting a new hard drive and starting a fresh start with your PC.

I would suggest getting an SSD as opposed to an HDD, as an SSD will 'make' your PC seem faster and more fluid.

The ram upgrade isn't really necessary, although it would benefit you, the SSD upgrade would benefit you the most.

Kind Regards,

Hi,

I'm sorry to say but all of that pa lava is complete and utter rubbish.

I have been using my SSD for over 2 years and Kingstons tool kit still says it's life expectancy is at 100% so that is completely wrong.

Think of it like this, how long has your USB lasted (if you have one), SSD's operate with the same stuff, 'flash memory'.

The reason why people think that SSD's don't last long is because the more 'writing' that you do on the drive the faster it will deplete.

SSD's can last up to about 5 years, while hard drives can last up to 10 years at the very most.

Hope I helped.

Hi again,

From biostar's website

Memory:

Support Dual Channel DDR3 800/1066/1333(supported by CPU model) MHz
2 x DDR3 DIMM Memory Slot
Max. Supports up to 8GB Memory

The mobo will / should unclock the memory and voltages to supported levels so nothing to worry about compatibility wise.

This one is fine:

http://www.snapdeal.com/product/corsair-vengeance-ddr3-4-gb/2010360135#bcrumbLabelId:703

You can always get another one if you want 8GB ram.

Quick question: This Ram says 1600MHz will it work on my current pc and in future if i want to make a AMD FX pc will it be working on that setup?

Hi again,

Yes, as I said above (you must have missed it), the motherboard will / should automatically under clock the Mhz and the voltage to levels that are supported by the motherboard so nothing to worry about.

Good day thw experts and visitors, i have one question, but i want to talk one short funny story before:)

2016 has come ~3 month ago, but mdfk Putin makes the "Mission impossible 6" from buying PC.
A few days ago i find in trash MB biostar n68s3b with sempron 145 assy, w/o RAM ((
My goal is to buy RAM and make it work, and in the future I want to change MB to 2nd hand GIGABYTE GA-990XA-UD3 and some of 6-8 cores FX.
(i need multicore CPU, but i3 and i5 is wery expensive, i forgot about i7, extreme and Xeon lol )

In shop i found 4Gb of D3, PC15000 1866MHz Crucial Ballistix Elite CL9 (for the future MB) but i not sure about "trash CPU and MB", it's can start on any clocks or not?
Thanks for attention ^-^ )))
