Hey guys, thinking of buying a laptop for when I go on holiday at the end of the year. Chances of it being used regularly are very slim after the 2 weeks away and I'll only really be likely to use it for holidays.

So I've done a lot of research about prices / specs etc when it comes the currently available laptops and decided that to be frank, when I last had a laptop that could play games you got a lot more "bang for your buck", circa 2007, when my £700 laptop played most new games extremely well.

Anyway I don't really care about playing insanely new games, don't want anything too big and bulky either. Just want a relatively decent experience, ideally would like a dedicated gfx card with it if possible.

So, I saw this chinese company YunSen selling laptops on Amazon - http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=sr_st_price-asc-rank?keywords=YunSen&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3AYunSen&qid=1444587883&sort=price-asc-rank

They seem to have moderate to very good specs at reasonable prices. But a distinct lack of reviews when it comes to Amazon.

My question is, should I just go ahead and buy a YunSen laptop which will not get regular usage or is it possible the components they are using are fake / terrible build quality?

Anyone who has had experience with this company in the past please let me know. For those who are merely speculating based on it being a chinese company please take into account chinese companies are reaching a point in many cases where they are making more money than the US/Jap companies they are knocking off, so much so one major chinese knock off company managed to buy out it's US competitor who was suing them (can't remember the name but it was those strange 2 wheeled scooters that people stand on). I say this just because I'd like to avoid comments from people who will immediately discredit the brand solely because it's Chinese without actually looking into it (because let's face it, we're all dubious of chinese companies).

Anyway, worth taking a shot at or not? If this was a laptop that would see major usage I wouldn't even dream of buying from such a brand but since it's barely going to get used I'm considering it.

Cheers guys.

EDIT - Lets say - http://www.amazon.co.uk/YunSen-Ultrabook-Laptop-I3-3217u-Windows/dp/B00ZUGXY0W/ref=sr_1_14?ie=UTF8&qid=1444589951&sr=8-14&keywords=yunsen

Bear in mind the YunSen is an "Ultrabook".

Evening,

I have been looking at YunSen's laptops, they are really good value. As for weather they are reliable?

I have never brought anything with them but they seem legit. There is one review on one of the YunSen laptops on amazon.

Here is the reviews and stuff for YunSenTech (the company shipping the ultrabook's)/ They seem to have a good track record only it will probobly take 10-24 days if they shipping it from China or Hong Kong.

Hope this helps!
