How can I overclock my laptop to run faster?

I have a Dell Inspiron 3521 laptop, the problem is that I tried installing some vent control software, but I can't control it because it can't be modified because of the bios setup, which I can't find. So does anyone have a piece of advice for me?

How can I boost my performance in games, movies, browsing to sum it up everything? I run everything in games on low, also I modified my windows for best performance regarding visual appearance and I allocated all my Ram. I don't know whether or not I can add a SSD to it but I can find out. Also I plan on buying a cooler, hopefully a powerful one, maybe Freon or water to cool down my laptop and if I buy a new one use it on it. So does anyone know, how can I boost my performance?

Overclocking, adding water cooling or Freon(!) to a laptop? Just...no.

Practically, you cannot.

It may not even be possible with your BIOS.
It may not even be possible with your CPU
Your system is very likely to overheat CPU and/r GPU with overclocking, laptops have very limited heat envelopes.

What is your laptop?

I wrote in the comment. Dell Inspiron 3521. I don't really have the money I am looking for a solution. I prefer investing in some powerful cooling devices.

Sorry, I meant to say what is your laptop CPU? Celeron 1017U or Pentium 2127U, or what? most of those chips are locked and cannot be overclocked.

A much faster, better laptop can be bought for $300 today. Save.

Yes. I was not suggesting an upgrade, merely trying to find, by some miracle, that the CPU was overclockable in any meaningful way. It is not, so no dice.

Laptops are built to very tight thermal and power envelopes. There's noting meanginful you can do except get a better laptop.

What is your OS? 32 bit or 64 bit?

8Gb of Ram will likely help a little, and an SSD will make it feel a lot faster, but if you are looking for more FPS in some game (which games?) not much you can do.

I play a lot StarCraft 2, Company of heroes 2, Counter Strike Global offensive and Red Orchestra 2, Left 4 dead 2. But I usually don't have problems with games, only when browsing on internet. And my temperature usually is between 55-65. But I don't know why it moves like this on the internet.

It may be a BIOS or WiFi problem. Have you checked your upload and download speeds over your connection?

Yes, but that's an 'easy' answer. It's worth checking out though. You may just have a bunch of background stuff going too.
