I'm trying to buy a PSU in the 500-650Watts and preferably a Tier2 or if possible Tier 1.

I looked through all the listings given on the the PSU tier thread.
My constraints are: budgest 50$-75$, Bronze-gold, 140mmx150mmx86mm (can't be bigger)
What I'm powering: GTX 950 SSC + E3-1225v3 84watt + SSD + 1tb 7200rpm + 8GB RAM
The following are the ones I short listed:

Cooler Master V550: 84$ - 30$ mail in rebate (I've never done rebates and thoughts on Cooler master's rebates)

Seasonic S12ii 520: 59$
Seasonic M12ii 520: 69$
Fractal Design Edison M 550W: 69$

Can you please help me pick a good reliable PSU from the above list (unless there are better recommendations).

Good catch Blackbird, I was actually considering that one, but then I read quite a few reviews complaining about the fan noise and the way it handles fan speeds under even normal load.

@InvalidError:
I dont mind tier 3, but given then price difference I'd rather spend 20$ more and get a PSU that is more future proof and support upgrades later on.
I might consider adding the Xeon E3-1231v3, which is an I7 comparable part, and I might add 32GB ECC memory (which is expensive and wouldnt trust a cheap PSU on).

The MIR is the big problem with V550, I've never done it, and I dunno if I can trust them on this, havent read anyones reviews on the cooler master rebate cards.

Is there any such thing as Skylake compatible/Haswell compatible? And what exactly is that? Also, the S12-II, people say it doesn support the C-states on the Haswell. Are the referring to the lower frequency states that the processors go to when idle?

Are there any others you'd like to recommend?

Ufortunately the SuperNova is 150mmx150mmx86mm. I have a dell cabinet and the current PSU measures 140x150x86, and I heard another member say this supernova wasnt able to fit width wise. The cabinet has a latching mechanism on the side which comes in the way, so it has to be 140mm width.

I know, :p .. my constraints are super unreasonable.

AS for the XFX, are you saying the Fan noise won't be any different to the Seasonic S12-ii PSU? Do they use the same exact components and temperature control?

I really liked the XFX by the Fan thing kinda got me worried.

Oh I see. And yea, I was soo tempted to buy the EVGA, but the size constraints held me back.

Yes, I saw the M12ii 520, is it similar internally to the S12ii except the modularity? or does it have better components? The Seasonic website is very unflattering , lol its so old school, hope their power supplies arent from 2008 or something haha.

So do you think the XFX TS 550w is the best bet? Any particular reason I should consider the Seasonic over the XFX?

So I order the EVGA Supernova 550 GS, for 69$. I read another member's thread where he managed to squeeze this PSU into a similar Dell machine as mine. Will report back once I get it, finger crossed :)
