hi i was wondering if i need to re apply thermal paste
i was installing a corsair h100igtx in my case and it had pre applied thermal paste.
i installed the waterblock onto my cpu(i7 5820k) but them i had to take it off to fix the backplate.
but when i re installed the waterblock i did not re aplly thermal paste i just left the thermal paste on there
did i do something wrong?
would that damage anything?
im getting 30 degress temp with my cooler and i get around 40 degrees when i oc my 5820k from 3.3ghz to 3.8ghz.
this is my first pc build
an answer would be appreciated
