Will the mobo in this build work with windows 10 out of the box? I read a review from one person saying it wouldn't but i wanted to check to be sure because it comes in a bundle with my cpu for a great price. I would also appreciate any tips on my build in general. First time building a pc.

PS. I want to stick with windows 10 because it is on sale for the full version plus it is the newest and will be supported for the longest.

Thank you

I would say tech level should be a 1 (entry level, low). It's fairly common knowledge that when you first buy a mobo, chances are very good it will come with out of date BIOS, and also generally the drivers that come with it are also out of date. If you look through reviews many people will list themselves as High yet make statements in their reviews that indicate they are from that level

I read a review from one person
And you read this where?

I see no reason that board should not work with that OS.
Not a great motherboard for your probable usage, but it should work.

4 out of 5 eggsgood board so far
Pros: Easy to install. comes with decent instructions. no defects noted

Cons: doesn't come ready for Windows 10. Tech email is slow. Bios updating software is not very good.

Other Thoughts: The install disk has Bios Version F1. I used this MOBO with an Intel G3258 cpu. If you wan to use Windows 10 upgrade, you must download the F2 update from Gigabyte's site, unzip it to a thumbdrive, then follow the Flash instructions. They are pretty easy. However, it is difficult to find this information online. Windows 10 will not install without F2.

That was the review
