desktop MOBO change USB port 2.0 to USB 3.0

Hello guys! I want to ask.

I buy a broken chipset MOBO for a cheap price brand Asus Gryphon Z97.
Can I take the USB port 3.0 and put into my MOBO Gigabyte G41M-Combo or other MOBO?
It is possible use soldering technique? If can, what a next step? Install driver? It is working?

Use a soldering iron on a motherboard and the heat will destroy it.

do you have a USB 3.0 header to connect it to on your motherboard? If you don't, then you need to get an adapter that will convert the USB 3.0 to USB 2.0.You wouldn't need to send it to a shop ,then.
