Which Graphics Card is better

I Now need help deciding between the GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 970 g1 gaming or the MSI R9 390. Alot are saying the 390 is faster and better. If you can help please cause i have been trying to find out which one is better.

The 390 is great for higher resolutions because of the 8GB of vram, but the GPU is too weak to render 4K, so if you crossfire them with a 1000w PSu, you'll get decent 4K performance.
