No. The chipset doesn't support that cpu.

Chipset supports it but it would have been upto hp to add support to the bios and where hp doesn't list it chances are it's not supported.

The chipset yes but the mobo manufacturer must provide the BIOS software.
You might need to check if you can find the latest BIOS.
If the latest BIOS version does not have Q6600 and Q6700 support, you still can not use those.
On the official page, HP does not include those 2.
You can try but nobody can tell you if it works.
