Why my Hyper X Fury runs at 1866 when my mobo only supports 1600mhz?

I actually overclocked RAM at 1866mhz but when I saw the MOBO specs it only supports 1600mhz.

MOBO: ASRock N68C-GS4 FX
CPU : FX8320e
RAM: 4gb Hyper X Fury
GPU: GT430

Here's my CPUID screenshot

Is it safe guys? please help

Solution
Afternoon,

The motherboard should / will downclock the clock speed and voltage levels of the memory to match your setup so there is nothing to worry about!

Many thanks,

no it isnt , however for another reason. your mobo doesnt support FX 8320e . you need a newer and better mobo to properly run that cpu. amd970/990fx chipset preferably!

your cpu has a base clock of 3.2ghz and two boosted states (turbo for cores) 3.5ghz and 4ghz. what i can see from hwinfo is ''current'' core clock of 1.4ghz and an ''average'' of 1.6ghz. it clearly throttles. anyway your mobo is pretty old and cannot make good use of the cpu. AM3 platform has a wide variety of amd mobo chiptets however not all of them are capable of running the lattest 6-8core cpu. your mobo doesnt have the thermal design (vrm) needed to run that cpu under heavy conditoins (like gaming) thats why they excluded the processor from the compatability list. cpu upgrade site or whatever took an arbitary decision to apper it as compatible just because FX 8320e is an 95w tdp that fits your mobo capability(asrock N68C-GS4 FX is also capable up to 95w) , however the FX family is different in design from older phenoms or athlons , so more demanding.!

yeah the other guy from this forum said that it throttles the VRM, so for short my cpu is not using its 100% core usage because of this issue?

yes, however it might not seem so obvious since gt 430 is weak and cannot stress the cpu . anyway if you want to have a solid rig you need to start off with a new mobo. then you should aim for a better gpu(supposedly you have a solid psu) . that 4gb Hyper X Fury must be dd3 in order to work with a new mobo.

thanks for explaining a lot in my mobo, i really learned a lot of things from you and yes i am planning to buy a new mobo but im still lack of budget lol.

btw this is the board i am planning to buy http://www.gigabyte.ph/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4305#ov

is that good for my processor?

yes it running at 3.2ghz. however you will never see it reach 4ghz as turbo core is disable. i would worry however for the longevity of the mobo.anyway if you are satisfied with such performnace, you can keep it, its up to you, however still not recommended.

hey ive already change my mobo to Gigabyte 970A DS3P

I see the changes now when i monitor my core clock is now running at 3.5ghz when playing and sometimes i saw it running at 4.0ghz. My another question is what is turbo core? how can i maintain the current clock speed at 4ghz (turbo)?

http://www.amd.com/en-us/innovations/software-technologies/turbo-core

seeking better performance from your cpu with such gpu you have is pointless and wont bring any better results.!

yeah, btw thanks again chris for helping me ill tell you if i already bought a good GPU.
anyway i see a lot of improvement when i changed my mobo esp. the CPU fan from 6000rpm down to 3000rpm when loaded, and 50-60c core temp down to 30-40c and also the mobo temp from 60-70c down to 40-50c.
