I'm about to build my second pc and I have just one question about data transfer:
I know that I will need to format and reinstall Windows on my ssd drive but will I be able to connect my second hdd with all the old data inside or I need to format it too.
If I have to format it how can I backup my data from there

Solution
You will be able to keep your old HDD and use it to pull data to your new SSD.

Steps:

-Unplug your current HDD SATA cables
-Install your new SSD Drive
-Install a fresh Windows OS on your SSD drive
-Plug in your old HDD drive (while keeping the SSD drive in as well)

**Make sure your SSD drive is set to boot first within your BIOS**

-Boot into Windows on your SSD

From Windows on your SSD you should see your old HDD show up in the 'My Computer' pane, and will be easily able to directly transfer any data you want from the HDD to the SDD drive. After you transfer all your data over, you can re-format the HDD drive in Disk Manager and use it for extra storage.
