Hi guys, my specs:
4790k, gigabyte h97m-d3h, g1 gaming 970 4g
monitors:
dell u2515h (using its given DP to mDP cable)
asus vx279h (HDMI)

Because the mDP cable sometimes give a snow screen therefore yesterday I decide to buy a DP cable to replace the faulty mDP cable. I must admit that the DP i bought is not a quality one, around $10 USD in my country.

However tonight when I went back home I could not start up my PC, it shows "GIGABYTE UEFI DUAL BIOS" for around 5 seconds and reboot itself....then it shows the "GIGABYTE UEFI........." again. It repeats everytime it reboots.

I decide to remove the DP cable and the only output is the HDMI asus monitor, after removing the DP cable, the PC reboot and successfully enter windows lol. I do not know what is going on and now I use the mDP cable and it runs flawlessly despite of snow screen sometimes.

I believe it is 100% the DP cable but I am not convinced that a cable would make my PC not turning on, can anyone helps?

hey there, thanks for answering anyway
I know, it could be a bad quality cable, but maybe its the display card DP port problem :/

well i guess a good DP cable cost like $30 I better save it and stick on using my mDP cable at all.
