Hello guys,

I have a problem with my router. It is a modem+router combined, and I get random ping spikes in like every 20 seconds for one sec. I pinged my gateway adress in the command line and the results are this.

I dont know if it is the 18ms what I am searching for but that is truly a big difference form the other results.
It happens with more than one pc so I am sure it is the routers fault. Somewhere I read that I should try to change the WiFi channels but it didnt seem to work, altough I only tried a few.

Edit: It only happens on wifi, when I am connected with cable, I have no problems.

Edit2: I tried to ping google.com ->http://imgur.com/GUYhpUr

Thanks for the help!

Hi
That could be due to interference to the WiFi,try to identify if any household appliances are switching on at the time of the slow ping.
Of special note are refrigerators,air cons,microwave ovens and the like.
