Hello,

I'm having a bit of memory problems, I bought 2x 8Gb 1866mhz memory sticks from corsair and they have been running fine, until my system started to run slowly, this was the reason:

I started to look around and saw that my ram was only running at 666mhz.
should I just overclock my ram to 1866mhz?
or is there something else I can do?

and how do I overclock my ram?

On your motherboard to run the RAM at 1866 is classified as an overclock. First thing I'd do is make sure you have the latest version of your BIOS. Then enable XMP in the BIOS and manually set the RAM to run at 1866.
Your RAM isn't actually running at 666Mhz, it's running at 1333Mhz. When you see the clock speed you need to multiply it by two as DDR refers to double data rate.
