i have 2 graphics cards currently and im thinking about putting them both in my pc but i dont know if they can crossfire. i have an AMD Radeon R7 240 2GB DDR3 and a AMD Radeon HD5570 1GB DDR3 im wondering if i can crossfire them or not and if i cant then can i put them both in my computer? i have an MSI 970 Gaming motherboard that has 2 PCIE x16 slots and if i can put them both in what does it do? any benifits for having 2 GPUs in my system?

Solution
Not only are they different chipsets, the HD5570 doesn't have a crossfire connector.

There is no benefit to running both cards, the system cannot utilize them together.

You can run 2 separate monitors off them. If you do like 3D modelling they can utilize multiple GPU's for rendering, but those are so old and weak that would be a waste.

Otherwise thats about it.
