I just wanted to ask if the following tasks would be be like stress-testing?
The type of tasks include things like about are streaming movies, uploading videos, recording things, and other "real world" applications.< I think you understand what I'm getting at.
I don't know if I have the enough cores for my CPU. I don't know if my CPU can handle these requirements or if I have enough RAM.

Stress tests are specific tests to stress all parts of hardware, so no they are not like stress tests.

Yes, that is real world stress testing. There's also syntetic stress testing. If you do what you do and look at the performance of your system that way, then synthetic stress tests are pointless, because you're not going to push it that far anyways.

Enthusiasts like to stress test like so to ensure that in worst case scenario their PC is up to the task. I never stress testes and have no need to personally.
