ram 4gb ddr3 1333mhz
gpu:currently integrated ati radeon 4200 384mb ddr3
win 7 64 bit
I run cs go at all low settings 1024x768 my native is 1280x1024 but when I put it at 1024x768 it gives me a bit more fps and less fps drops but I would like to play at 1280 and I have no background apps running I have seen people with the same specs and even lower specs run higher fps do u have any tips hardware ingame wise to help me I don't think my father wants me to upgrade my pc just yet since we just got it I would like to get higher fps
and if possible run the game at my native res and maybe even mixture of medium and low settings ? sorry for bad grammer and stuff I was in a rush

Set global shadow to very low.
Turn off anti-aliasing.
Disable FXAA.
Set filtering to Bilinear.
Don't expect too much from integrated graphics cause they rely on the main system memory for GPU VRAM.
A dedicated graphics card will do much better even a cheap one will do for CS-GO.
And don't forget to turn off Windows Aero (the transparent thing) and use Windows basic theme.

Your CPU is still capable of running CS-GO.
The integrated HD 4200 is holding you back.
One thing to take note is more memory does not mean more performance.
The card itself needs to be fast enough to fill in the memory and most low end and integrated graphics are not that great in this area.
You have to also take note of the amount of shader or stream processors.
The integrated GPU you have currently shares with the system memory and this causes bottleneck.
You might want to take a look at this:
http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-graphics-card-review,3107-7.html
The HD 4200 integrated graphics is below a 2600 pro so you might want to give it a try with the old card.
Make sure the card is PCI-Express X16 and not AGP.
And also don't forget to also check for the latest drivers from AMD website according to your operating system version.

It is pcie express or pcie x16 and not only for cs go since it had around 128mb less and ddr3 will I see a fps boost in games and I can put maybe one setting higher ? I saw a hd Radeon h 5770 1 go ddr3 for 49 bucks should I use the one I have left or try to convince my dad to get it even tho I can get it with my own money but no electronic purchase goes past without my dads approval

You can go ahead and try the HD 2600 pro but I don't think it's much of an upgrade.
The HD 5770 requires "450 Watt or greater power supply with one 75W 6-pin PCI Express® power connectors recommended".
I would recommend the HD 5670 instead since it does not require extra power connector.
Let me know the outcome.

U are right it is a gpu bottleneck I runned msi and task manager
the cpu usage was around 60 to 70 and around 1.70gb just to add that in and my gpu usage was 99 at all times
I don't really know my other 2 options could be a Powercolor Hd 5450 1gb ddr3 64 bit 80 stream cores or a zotac gt 520 1gb ddr3 64bit 38 cuda cores idk which one to pick for the best performance and will my cpu bottleneck those cards?
ive got a 320 watt powersupply from hp ill try the 2600 pro first and if it has problems im gonna consider one of those 2 cards and if u don't mind could u check these to links to the cards site and u can search there specs and tell which is the best for me both cards are around the same price
thanks <3

And would it handle fta 4 better on medium settings and 128x1024 or I need to put it 1024x768 I'm gonna be running lcpdfr and there mods will it run a smooth 30 frames plus without fps dips ?

Most DirectX 9 games will run.
You might want save a little more to get a used HD 4670 or HD 5670 if you want to be able to play smoothly at 1280x1024.
The GT 520 will be able to handle games as long as the quality is lowered.
I have no experience playing GTA 4 with mods so I have no knowledge on that area.

ok ill check the stuff out if I get lucky and get a gtx 750ti how will the gtx 750ti handle most games in my case gta 4 cs go max settings 60 fps+,tf2 max and half life 2 and euro truck simulator 2? and will the gtx 750 or 750ti be bottlenecked by my cpu ?

You get around 10 FPS increase going from 750 to 750ti.
http://www.anandtech.com/show/7764/the-nvidia-geforce-gtx-750-ti-and-gtx-750-review-maxwell/14
At 1280x1024 both cards will peform well above 30 FPS for the games you mention.
Your CPU will bottleneck but not by a huge amount.
Go for the 750 instead of the 750ti since you play games at your native res of 1280x1024.
I had a Pentium G2010 before and upgrading to an i5 3330 gives me an increase in frame rate and overall smoothness.
Paired it with a HD 7770 and I can play GTA 4 at 1920x1080 high settings.
So don't worry about bottlenecking since at 1280x1024 it should give you more FPS compared to 1920x1080.
You can always upgrade to a better CPU in the future so just go with the upgrade.

By the way how big of a fps upgrade will I see im also considering to upgrade my cpu for other games also but if I upgrade my card to lets say a gtx 650 or gtx 660 even that gt 520 how big of a fps increase will I see and will I be able to play in 128x1024 and maybe 1 or 2 settings in medium?

GTX 650 is 4-5 times faster than the GT 520.
The GTX 660 on the other hand will leave the GT 520 in the dust.
GTX 660 is overkill if you want to play games at 1280x1024 as it is made more for 1920*1080 and a quad core setup.
The GTX 650 is a good combination for your current CPU and resolution.
But keep in mind you need a 1x6 pin power connector with a power supply wattage of 400W(GTX 650) and 450W(GTX 660).
Therefore go with the GTX 750 instead since it does require extra power connector and you can simply run it with your stock 300W PSU.
It's like a night and day difference once you upgrade from integrated graphics to a dedicated graphics solution.

Going for the GTX 650 will require you to change Power Supply.
The GTX 750 will work on your current computer without needing extra power connector.
You should go for the GTX 750 since it is newer and uses less power.
And one more thing.
Is your computer branded (HP, Dell, Acer) or a custom built PC?
And is it a full tower or a small form factor(SFF) ?
