Hello Toms Hardware community!
In my work the company gave us a laptop with a Linux GNU partition named canaima.
so i had an issue while installing windows 7, i have partitioned my hdd in NTFS format to correctly install windows, also, i can do it, i can correctly install windows. The problem is that in the installation process of windows, when he needs to restart to do some changes it doesnt starts on windows, it starts on the GNU GRUB and it only shows my Canaima S.O, no windows.

(i already know that windows deletes the MBR and you have to restore it with SuperGrub Disk, the problem is that i cant even start windows, and it seems like windows does not delete the MBR to install his own boot sequence).

Also, added to this, some people told me to format my Linux GNU Canaima partition, the problem is i cannot format it, i cannot lose any data that came with the laptop, i just only want to install windows 7 for daily home usage (coz im not familiar with linux) i need the Linux GNU Canaima O.S that comes preinstalled for my work, thats why i cannot erase it.

Thank for your support, il be in touch when you respond.
Have a nice day, by Jose from venezuela.

edit: and yes, im asking how to install windows on a Linux preinstalled computer without erasing any previous linux s.o data
