Hi guys,
I heard and i am sure its true that having a second monitor will lower a tiny bit your fps ...my gpu is not the best in fact its really bad (r7 250x).
My idea was since my cpu is really good (i7 4790) to enable onboard graphics and connect my second monitor to the motherboard so i let my cpu do the rendering to the second screen. Will this work ?Is there going to be any problem with that solution ?

(((i also want to do this because my second screen tend to flicker for no obvious reason)))

Other specs :
Main monitor plugged on gpu 1080p 75hz
Second monitor plugged on mobo 720p 60hz
ram : 8gb ddr3 memory
mobo: z97s sli krait edition

Solution
Your solution can work, but it won't be better than just using the second output on your card. I'm not sure where the myth of reduced performance comes from, but it needs to go away. You will lose about 1% performance. You will lose that regardless of where you plug the second screen in. If you want to recover that 1%, just disable/turn off the screen.

There should be an option in your bios to enable the integrated graphics to work even with a dedicated card if you want to try it out.
