Hello I am building a gaming computer in November and would like to have some advice on the parts I should choose. I have a layout already planned out but I need you guys to help me out. I have $3500 USD to work with and would like to make and overkill system. Here is my part list

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Zq4vJx

And also can you recommend a monitor. I'm buying it all on Amazon so I have roughly 250-300 for a monitor preferably a 21-24 inch

This looks pretty good IMO!

I know the monitor is slightly bigger but it's awesome.

I would suggest the gtx 980 ti version for you the performance between titan x and 980 ti is minimal and the price difference is huge http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00Z0UX8TA/ref=twister_B00Z07KXCI?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

For the monitor, if you are not a fan of 3d gaming then this one would be perfect for you http://www.amazon.com/VS248H-P-1920x1080-DVI-D-Back-lit-Monitor/dp/B0058UUR6E

If you intend on going 3d then take a look at this http://www.amazon.com/VG248QE-1920x1080-DisplayPort-Ergonomic-Back-lit/dp/B00B2HH7G0

Just a small note the titan x or gtx 980 ti is a lot of performance on just 1080p gaming, a gtx 980 or even 970 will be perfect for you, but in any case the choice is yours

Well FYI ! , (don't know why you are yelling for) till now the only thing that proves that is a single test made on Ashes of Singularity (which is not fully released yet), and till now we don't have any full release of any kind of a game that fully supports DX 12 because FYI ! DX 12 is very hard to develop currently for games, check Ark: Survival Evolved as an example for that and this of course is just FYI !

It's better to get Win 8.1 later upgrade it to win 10 until their buggy, others issues get solved up. The GTX 980 Ti is always a better option than others. It's solid card for price in the market right now IMO. Pairing another would be great for 4k gaming though a single Ti still struggles at 4096 x 2160 resolution but i like this monitor listed down there. I know talked about 4k display went straight to 1440p. Dunno many of them here may vote down but adding 2 display more will definitely give you better experience (just saying my personal opinion) though i know it makes no sense to invest dollars on a triple pricey display's.

Air coolers cannot be AIO, they are still better option to go with. Yes, people state some horrific reasons not go with Liquid cooling and make the OP scared. Proper installation will eliminate the risk.

I'm not comparing the Fury X. I understand what you're saying but you're not understanding what I'm saying.

Bang for buck the Fury (NOT X) is better than the 980 Ti. Losing around 10FPS in the worst scores. (Still hitting around 80 which is smooth). I'd rather that with a Freesync monitor that is nice and save $250 atleast over 10 or so FPS. Besides if this rig is for 4k Gaming the 295X2 is still the 4k king. Grab 2 of those.

Wait, you gonna be kidding me. Fury is better than 980 Ti ?
And a single 980 Ti is way better than 2x295, you call that a 4k king..You made me laugh :D
justify your statement or else i'm not gonna believe.

Clearly not. Stop being so awkward and just agree with the benchmarks?

The only thing that will completely destroy that is (possibly) Pascal with the HBMv2 which by the looks of things will have 6-8 GB of memory. That will be good to see.

The 295X2 is effectively 2 290X's in crossfire on a single card which is effectively the same as the TITAN Z (If I am correct) that's 2 kepler chips effectively SLI'd in a single card. Don't quote me on the Nvidia bit but..

The 295X2 is a great card but it needs atleast a 750w PSU to power it in a build plus some more to start overclocking, hence the liquid cooler.

If possible, can you guys recommend a good 4k monitor for the price of $500 usd because I at first intended on getting 2 1080p monitors for video editing but decided to downgrade to the 980ti and have more money to allocate to a good quality 4k monitor
