will these ram work together??????

hi guys,
couple of months ago i bought adata 2*4gb (addu1600w4g11-b) ram.now i want to increase the memory.but the only ram available at the online sites now is adata 4 gb (AD3U1600W4G11-B/AD3U1600W4G11-R). pls check the specs of both of these and pls tell me whether they work together.


i had a 2 gb adata ram (AD3U1600W4G11-B/AD3U1600W4G11-R) from my previous build.but when tried them with the new one it didnt work.i thought it was because of memory size difference.im a bit noob when it comes to ram. so pls help me out guys....

No way of knowing without trying, any time you mix DRAM from different packages it's a crapshoot, even with two sets of the same identical model of DRAM. The sticks in a package have been tested together to ensure they play nice, that's why a 4 stick package often costs a little more than a pair of 2 stick packages, it takes more time and testing to find four sticks that play nice than it does 2
