So I was playing games when my HDD suddenly fell on the floor. I found that the heads got stuck on the disc or it wasn't parked and such so I found a video explaining how to do this and I did what the video told me. The HDD gets detected and shows up in device manager as WD SES Device but nothing else is happening. It doesn't get detected in disk manager so I don't know where to go from now. Can someone help me?

Hi there JDigiC,

That is unpleasant. :(
Unfortunately, your HDD sustained some physical damage. It seems that it is not recognized as a hard drive(not showing up in Disk Management).
How did you found that the heads were stuck. In case you've opened up the drive, you may have exposed the platters to dust contaminated environment.
In case the data stored on the drive is crucial, you will need to contact a data recovery company.

You can check WD's Data Recovery Partners out: http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=rJl8ZG

I did open the drive, only for a few seconds though. The HDD is detected in disk manager now aswell but it says 'Unknown' as you can see here http://imgur.com/a/AdhuX

I guess you can try accessing the drive with some data recovery tools. Though, I doubt that you will be able to access it.
Also, keep in mind that the drive should be inside the enclosure as it is most probably hardware encrypted.(WD My Passport, WD My Book)
