Hi all,

So, I've been upgrading my computer the last few days by making changes to the PSU, GPU and RAM. I installed my GPU and PSU on Sunday with no issues. Everything has been working great up until this morning when I removed my old RAM (4x2GB Sticks) and tried to replace it with 2x8GB Sticks. Before I continue, I'll note down my PC Specs:

GPU - Asus Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 Strix Graphics Card (4GB, GDDR5, PCI Express 3.0)
PSU - Corsair CP-9020056-UK RM Series RM850 80 Plus Gold 850W ATX/EPS Fully Modular Power Supply Unit
CPU - Intel Core i5 3570k
RAM - Corsair CMY16GX3M2A2400C11R Vengeance Pro Series 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 2400Mhz
Mobo - Msi z77a-g45

Now for more detail...

I took out the old RAM, inserted the new and now my computer is stuck in a cycle of constant reboot and shutdown. The computer will run for around 15 seconds before shutting down and repeating. I must say, this has happened to me before a few years ago when I removed my old RAM so I could clean. I had to take it to a shop because I had no idea how to fix it. The guy said there was nothing wrong with my tech, he said he just did something with the RAM but I can't remember what...

What I've tried:
1. Launching with one stick - Didn't work,
2. Changing which slots the RAM was in - Didn't work.
3. Removing the CMOS battery for 30 seconds and then putting it back in - Didn't work.
4. Tried inserting the old RAM again - Didn't work.

I think it's something very simple but I can't figure it out.

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks.

Yes. I just used each stick and tried them in all four slots, still no joy.
