I updated my maps for my Garmin Nuvi GPS, after paying Garmin about $80. Now, it no longer gets 'recognized' by my computer, or the Garmin traffic radio adapter....
Since Garmin wants $99 to 'fix it', (Heck, they broke it with their software!), can I re-flash the emulator BIOS in my non-working Nuvi? I have a new Nuvi GPS, since it was cheaper than the $99 repair charge...
I have plugged it into several computers. Each one 'sees' an USB device, only they cannot figure out what it is, and use the correct driver to deal with it...
