Hi, I want to upgrade my CPU, Graphics card and PSU so I was wondering which CPU to get. I can't decide between these two, I can't really go any higher with the price.
Thanks for the help.

4690k is cheaper and faster by 100mhz for both core and boost speed. Also it has new Thermal Interface Material, made with a Next Generation Polymer and additional capacitors on the underside for smoother power delivery (better for overclocking some say!)

4690K is better. If you happen to have an 8-series motherboard (Z87 chipset for example) you may need to flash the BIOS to support it, as the 4690K was designed for the 9-series not the 8-series. Since you said "upgrade" and not "new build" this may matter, but either way you should be able to run the 4690K (technically it's Devil's Canyon while 4670K is Haswell).

Well, I have a Asus B85M-G Motherboard so im guessing it will work.

Turns out those on-chip VRMs add to on-die heat (requires more cooling to dissipate the heat) and so they removed them again in Skylake - just saying. :)

With that motherboard, the answer is really neither. The B85M cannot be overclocked except with an old BIOS mod which I believe is no longer supported. If you cannot overclock, there is no point getting an overclockable CPU, either the 4590K or the 4690K. The 4690 is about as good as you can get for your budget, unless you live near a Microcenter and can walk-in and get a Xeon 1231v3 or similar.

Since you mention upgrade, what do you have now? (you can use it to update your BIOS if needed)
