Is the Linx 1010 a good tablet?

Hi,

I currently have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 running Android Kitkat 4.4.

I really like it, but I always find it a pain to surf the internet on because of the small screen.

I saw the Linx 1010 and I fell in love with it. It runs full Windows 8.1 has a 10" screen, and can be a laptop when docked up to a keyboard.

Is it a decent tablet for the money? And by the way, who is the OEM? Thanks!

I wouldn't say it is a "very powerful tablet" since it uses an Intel Z3735F Bay Trail generation Atom CPU released back in Jan 2014. It's a good CPU for a tablet though.

The Acer Aspire Switch 10 has a the same Atom CPU. You can watch the following review to get a general idea of how a tablet / laptop with that CPU will perform. Skip to 5:10 into the view for the performance side of the review.

Here's Dota 2 running on the Acer Switch, again just to give you a general idea of the Intel Z3735F performance. League of Legends is also playable since it is less demanding than Dota 2. I am sure Source Engine games like Half Life 2 can be made playable.

It is a very powerful tablet, I do not own it so I can't say for sure but the specs seem decent. It depends what you're going to be doing on it though, if you're just playing mobile games, social media, web browsing, music, ect then a windows tablet is great. Don't expect much more out of it in terms of performance.
