Hey guys I'm new to the pc gaming world, I've always been a gamer on consoles. But I'm getting older and looking to play games with a more mature audience, I'm ready for something more kick a$$ to get on. Plus I love how you can costumize your pc, it's like working on a car engine, the quicker the speed and colder it runs, the better haha. so I don't know hardware all that good but I've been doing some research and so far I've ended up with a thermaltake MK-1,corsair 750 power supply, M5A99FX PRO R2.0 mother board and a AMD FX 8350 8-core cpu. I just need to know what would be an awesome RAM/desktop drive to right n on my mother board that does that job, but don't break the bank. I was looking at the ripjaws x series 16gb (2 x8gb) 240 pin ddr3 sdram ddr3 1600 (pc3 12800) desktop memory. I just don't know what would be the best bang for a good price. Thanks

Check out Crucial Ballistix Sport RAM. It has good specs for a low price. Get 1600Mhz or 1866Mhz RAM. Ripjaws is also good RAM. Pick RAM with low CAS latency for its frequency (for 1600Mhz 8-9 CAS is good).

Also, what Corsair CX power supply is that? If it's Corsair CX, I suggest you steer away and pick a more quality unit. This article outlines the generals on power supplies and what makes a quality unit: http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/everything-you-need-to-know-about-power-supplies/

And what about your graphics card?

Thanks for your input man. I went with the 1866 MHz G.skill ares 16gb. Heard a lot of good things on that ram. I hope it's decent! Sadly it is a cx750m. Cmx series. I just might go with something else. But I'm not going to need anything bigger then a 750 watt power supply on what I've going with. I guess I could always change out later with no issues?, as far as my video card I was going to purchase the EVGA GeForce GTX 970. It's in my price range for about 350.00. Plus it has blue color scheme that is a plus. What you thinking?
