Extremely slow internet...

So, I we're watching videos on youtube for maybe 30 mins ago, in 1080p and it worked perfectly (better than mostly), and then suddenly after half a video I couldn't even watch in 480p because it had to buffer. So while it buffered I decided to play a game called agar.io (www.agar.io) and it took maybe 1.5 min to load the page up. When I was in-game it was super laggy, not even playable.

I measured my speed which was 0.9mbps (I pay for 12, however I mostly only get 0.7 during downloads).
Agar.io has never lagged before and I know it's not the servers since my friend isn't laggy at all.

Las ttime I did that my phones stopped working, that will be the last thing I'll do if everything else fails.

Your modem and router should maintain the settings. When I said "reset", I meant via the power cable. Unplug the router power cable, disconnect the Ethernet cable running router to modem, then disconnect the modem power cable. Wait about 5 minutes. Plug the power cable back into the modem and allow it time to fully cycle on. Once it is up to speed, plug the power cable into the router and allow it to fully cycle on. Once it's up to speed, connect the Ethernet cable back to the router.

There' s no need to completely wipe the router/modem using the tiny pin hole. THAT will wipe all the settings causing issues with your devices repairing with it's network.

Yeah I know, but I guess the settings didn't save last time I unplugged the router.

Only other thing I would suggest is check for firmware updates on both the router and modem.
