UPGRADING, I need help choosing a Video Card and a PSU, afraid I'll end up wasting money

My Desktop is an HP ENVY 700-056
Specs are:
AMD Elite Quad-core A10-6700
12GB DDR3
2TB
AMD Radeon HD 8670D

If anymore information is needed ask a way.

Also I was currently thinking of getting a Sapphire R9 270x 4GB GDDR5 as for the PSU a Corsair CX 600M. But my knowledge of PC building sucks so they probably won't fit and I don't know haha

I have upgraded these before and can verify that these fit. Seems like you are on the right track with the GPU/PSU match:

My only recommendation would be to look for a slightly better quality PSU:

For $10-20 more, you can get a higher quality & more stable power supply, which makes all the difference (and lasts longer) when/if you have an overclocked CPU/GPU.

Around $300 I could go a bit more but I'd prefer to keep it low

Good to know, I've been thinking really hard and I've been searching around but couldn't find a more definite answer.
Thanks a lot for these links, I can learn a bit more about this kinds of things.
I f you don't mind, would you tell me which PSU could be better?
