Hello everybody I bought a new motherboard which is a Gigabyte X99-UD4-CF with my old motherboard which is a Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H. Since I installed my new motherboard it would freeze out of nowhere when in use and at first I thought it was the lack of RAM since I only had 8GB of DDR4 RAM so I bought another stick making it 16GB which made my computer last longer but the freezes still happens. Also whenever It freezes and I restart my computer it will most of the time freeze on the boot-up sequence unless I unplug a few of my USB devices but it doesn't have to be all of my USB devices. The USB devices consists of my Razer Deathstalker keyboard, Razer 2014 Naga Mouse, my Webcam, and my Siberia Elite headset. It also seems that it doesn't matter which USB device and I can either have one or two plugged in before boot-up and I can plug everything else afterwards but I will get the freeze later if I'm on my PC long enough. Also if I change my graphics cards to either the 780 ti or the 980 ti the behavior of the freezes tend to change like with the 980 ti it seems like it would only at the boot-up sequence while with my 780 ti it does both like I mentioned but at the same time I didn't test out my 980 ti for too long so I'm not completely sure regarding switching out the GPU's. If any knows the answer please let me know it would be greatly appreciated.

PC Specs:
Motherboard: Gigabyte X99-UD4-CF
RAM: 16GB DDR4
CPU: Intel Core i7 5820k
GPU: 980 ti superclocked
SSD Samsung 840 EVO 500GB
HDD 500GB

I am still using my old HDD but I already had transferred and did a clean install of my OS to my SSD when I was using Windows 8.1 and I did another clean install when I upgraded to Windows 10.

Remove the razor keyboard and razor mouse, if you have a normal keyboard and mouse somewhere.
Use it to boot into windows test it for 2 hours and see if the issue comes again.
For your headset check here and make sure you have the offical drivers for windows 10.
https://steelseries.com/downloads
If not go ahead and download them and install it.

If none of that still works, come back and we will look at event viewer to see what the main problem is.

So maikutech I did what you told me and I got an old keyboard and mouse that my mom used a long time ago and boot it into windows, and I also updated my headset to the latest driver yet my computer after almost two hours still froze.

Lets start out with even viewer, click the search icon in the taskbar, next type in "Event Viewer", click that.
Next click on window logs, find system logs and double click, look at the history log and find any exclamation mark or red x errors.
Those errors that look similiar and is happening reapeatedly, click on the error and view the details.
If you don't mind, screenshot the event viewer logs and the error, once you do that..
We'll try to pinpoint where the main problem is, your issue sounds like a driver problems

The only issue about that is when I check the system logs I see so many errors and then I see a lot of them that say critical as well. Also when I check the ones that say Critical it says the source is the Kernel-Power and when I double click it and check the details it say "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error coulb be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly."

I need a screenshot of your errors that you see, without that I can't determine what maybe happening.
If thats abit too much, click on one of the errors, next click copy table and paste into your reply.
Click on the general and details tab of the error and copy and paste it back.
While you do that, what is the error pointing at, also is it a yell exclamation mark or red x.
Be sure to look at the dates of when that error occurred and see if its persistent.

The errors have the red exclamation marks, the warnings have yellow exclamation marks and the critical ones have a red x this is some of the errors, warnings and critcals down below, but there are a lot more of them I just couldn't fit them in the message.

For the critical errors, the one that says kernel power, I think its referring to your psu.
Show us a screenshot please if you don't mind I want to be sure of the error.
Also use photobucket to share your images.

The thing is for some reason my computer doesn't allow me to do screenshots and it can't be the PSU since I was experiencing this issue with my 850 watt power supply and i just upgraded to a 1300 watt power supply not too long ago and I am still experiencing the same issue.

With event viewer open, hit the prt scr button, next click on the search icon, type paint, click paint.
Now right click paste, now it'll show what you captured, save as .png and bring it back.

About the psu 1300 is way too much, 700 watts would have been enough for your system. :)
We'll talk about that after the issue is fixed.

By the way the 1300 watt is because I plan to do SLI in a couple of months.

May be having problems for those reasons, the BIOS was more than likely out of date when you got and the drivers that came with the mobo were also prob out of date. They are constantly updating them to catch up with other hardware notably DRAM (for the BIOS).

Also what model of DRAM, you mentioned 8GB and getting a second stick, while they may be the exact same model there's no guarantee they will play totally nice together, DRAM should be from a single package which is guaranteed to play as the manufacturer tested the sticks to ensure they play nice, with the model number(s) we can make adjustments if needed

So what downloads for the Bios and drivers do I need to get since I have never done it before. Also with the DRAM I got two of the same stick but at different times.

The second DRAM stick Serial Number: A61673D4
Part Number BLS8G4D240FSA. 16FA

So I did everything that you told me and I waited a full day testing it out and it seems now that it only freezes when booting if I have too many USB's connected but I also have to try it when I switch my GPU because like I said that when I change my GPU's the matter of the freezes changes.

Honestly if thats happening, it could be a motherboard issue.
To be on the safe side, remove any usb devices like tradesman asked for, then go into the bios and update it.
Long as the powers on and it updates sucessfully, you won't have a problem with it.
If it still freezes with gpu removed or with it installed and the usb ports are messed up still.
Call the manufacturer and ask them for help and be ready to rma it if they can't fix it over the phone with you.
