hello guys I am a photographer and I was looking to build a computer for both gaming and editing photos and videos. I wanted to know if this is the chip I should get I was thinking the i7 unlocked. as I was visiting Microcenter some one told me that Intel should be coming out with a 7th gen soon is this true ? does any one know about this ?

7th gen of Intel CPUs which will be Kaby Lake is expected to release in the second half of 2016, so wouldn't really consider that "soon". It will still be a 14nm CPU so if you were to go with skylake now you likely won't miss out on much.
