Should I upgrade my FM2/FM2+ motherboard? Should I wait?

Hello, sorry for my lack of knowledge concerning this matter. I currently have a MSI FM2-A75MA-E35 FM2 AMD A75 (Hudson D3) 6 x SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard. I want to upgrade to an ASUS ROG CROSSBLADE RANGER FM2+ AMD A88X (Bolton D4) 8 x SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 HDMI ATX AMD Gaming Motherboard. My processor is an AMD A10-6800K Richland 4.1GHz (4.4GHz Turbo) Socket FM2 100W Quad-Core Desktop Processor - Black Edition. Is this a worthwhile upgrade or should I wait?

^ you're missing the point mate - no current GPU (& that includes the 390x & gtx 980ti) saturates PCI express 2 bandwidth as it is.
Swapping one fm2 motherboard for another is a pointless exercise.
I would personally wait as going from AMD to AMD in your case isn't much of an upgrade for the money it will cost. If you were going Intel, I would likely tell you go for it as it would be a marginally big difference.

I'm an avid AMD supporter as you seem to be but I went Intel when I saw my 8350 was about half as fast as the Intel CPU I have in my sig. Everything else in my house is still AMD and will be for a while to come.

Are you truly having issues and need an upgrade or are you just getting the itch?

I'm not having many issues, but I want this upgrade for the PCIE 3.0 slots that the new board has.

There's no real purpose to this. Any future GPU that would actually need that much bandwidth would be horribly bottlenecked by any CPU running on that motherboard anyway, including your CPU.

So I should get a better gpu now, let it be bottlenecked, then upgrade my CPU and Motherboard in one go?

Sorry, I should have been more clear, I would get a non-FM2/FM2+ motherboard and cpu.
