Can i put a MSI Radeon R9 390 Gaming 8G into my Asrock 970 pro3 r2.0?

like i said can i put a MSI Radeon R9 390 Gaming 8G into my Asrock 970 pro3 r2.0?

I think i also need to download drivers beforehand or can i do that afterhand to? Or will it install itself or with a CD?

You motherboard is definitely compatible. You should be more concerned about your power supply and whether or not it has enough wattage and amperage to power the 390. You are going to need a PSU with at least 550 watts and 30 amps on the +12v rail.
