Built my new PC, when i turn it on the case fans and cpu cooler fan spin and then turn off, this repeats over and over..

I built my new pc last night and when i atteptted to turn it on the case fans and cpu cooler fan span for about two seconds and then turned off, this kept repeating. The case lights such as power button LED turn on aswell. I think i did everything correct, does anybody have any idea what could be going on ?

SPECS: MSI Z97 PC MATE, INTEL G3258, MSI OC R9 380 2GB, 8 GB HYPER X 1866, XFX 550 TS PSU.

I get no display on , the fans spin for two seconds and then that repeats , thats it ...

I have only tried connecting to the mobo so far , i will try that when my new monitor arrives as my GPU offers no connection for the temporary old monitor.

Well , amazon claims it has been delivered , i am waiting until today to see if it has came but if not i will have to take up a case with amazon. I will also check my neighbours !
