if the headset is usb with the mic you can do it.... but it is tricky setting everything up in control panel (sound). you need to set the headset as default recording / input device, and the ear buds as the output device. but itll also be cumbersome using both at once to talk into the mic. may I suggest a new headset that would be more comfortable unless money is an issue...
As said above it depends on the jack type, if they are both 3.5mm and have separate jacks for the mic and headphones, then yes, you just need to plug the correct plug in from the correct headphones.

yeah the one with mic is usb. and no thanks im probably gnna try and get the blue yeti blackout edition when i get the chance. thanks for the offer though
