I know nothing about pc's my son's got a Kingston 250gb 6gbs in his gaming pc ive just bought him a samsung 256gb which is 6.0gbs is this ok with it being 6.0gbs and Kingston being 6gbs. Thanks

It sounds like you are talking about SSD hard drives here.

If you are asking if they will work together then yes, they will. If you are asking if replacing the Kingston SSD with the Samsung will work, then yes, the Samsung 256GB SSD will replace the Kingston and have very similar performance.

Thanks for raply yes i did want to know if they would work together but main reason was with one being a 6.0gbs and the other a 6gbs thought it might of been different type cards for diffrent things.

everything is fine.... and if your motherboard supports 6gb everything will be nice and speedy, if not it operates at 3gb's. your motherboard support book tells you which sata ports are 6 gb, and in most cases now all sata ports are 6 gb. make sure to turn of pagefile for the boot drive or windows will kill it with read / writes. a ssd doesn't need pagefile.
