Hello. I am going to build my first computer soon and I want to make sure my parts are not overkill. I want to be able to run games like GTA 5 max settings, 60 FPS and I want to be able to record videos with ease. Alright so here's the parts I'm considering and I want you guys to change things around or tell me if it's good. For example I don't know which RAM I want to get and I would appreciate your input. Thank you.

Budget: $1,000 to $1,500. If it's a little more that's fine.

Case: White Phanteks Enthoo Luxe
Motherboard: ASUS Z97-A USB 3.0
CPU: I7 4790k
GPU: MSI GTX 970
Not sure which RAM I want to get.
Not sure which PSU I want to get.
Hard Drives: 1 SSD, and 1 HDD (not sure of the brands or amounts of space I need)
OS: Windows 10

Accessories
Keyboard: RAZER Blackwidow Stealth
Mouse: RAZER Deathadder Chroma
Mic: Audio Technica 2035 w/ Line6 Pod UX2 Interface (was told to get an interface for recording but not sure of its use and stuff so if you can explain this to me as well it would be appreciated)
Monitor: Not sure, probably a 1920x1080p monitor.

Thank you for reading this.

Solution
This would be much better for your money. It's silly to get the 4690k and a $115 cooler when you could just get the 4790k and good air cooler. The case fans make better sense for the case you are getting. The 250GB ssd is less than the 120GB ssd. The psu is more reliable.

Solution
For GTA V specifically, the GTX 970 is the best card in that price range... If you go with things like Star Wars Battlefront, the R9 390 is by far the better GPU to buy. Think about which games you're gonna want to play. The GTX 970 will slowly but surely be falling behind the R9 390.
