I recently purchased a used Dell Latitude e6540 with only on board graphics that is dragging my Windows 7 Experience to a score of "1".

I don't know much about Laptop graphic cards. I have a Radeon 7750 on my desktop and looking for something about that performance that has a score of 7.4 with which I am satisfied.

Can you steer me toward a few cards that will fit in this unit? The option by Dell in some of these is the Radeon 8790M. I have not been able to find a used one on Ebay or Amazon and I'm not stuck on a stock Dell option as long as it will be compatible with the system. Any help will be appreciated.

Specs are: QM4800 CPU, 8G Memory , Windows 7 64bit

Are you saying that the Dell Latitude E4540 Laptops that I see with the same 4800qm CPUs that are showing "AMD Radeon HD 8790M Graphics 2GB GDDR5" are born that way and mine cannot be upgraded to the same graphic specs? omg... I'm afraid you are. How can that be.. makes no sense.
