I live in Arizona, so it is already very hot in the home, but when I use my pc and play games on it for too long it gets VERY hot. I have a decent amount of case fans and a h100i corsair watercooler. How would I balance temperatures in my pc, and temperatures in the room my pc is in?

Will figure that out as soon as possible, currently the air conditioning isnt working. so the data would be thrown off by alot

EDIT: It is about 75-80 F ish on a good day

Accidentally chose you as a solution. Sorry, hopefully I didnt mess this whole thread up. I am getting 51c on both CPU and GPU from basic usage (no games just chrome and other programs)

ughh.. Not sure. I will tell you that I have a h440, and the h100I water cooler has two fans on the top of the case. No more additional/custom fans

Okay, I have the same case. What you might want to try is just adding one top exhaust fan right above the current exhaust fan.

So are you saying this did not happen when the ambient were lower?

If you have one of those water coolers with the radiator inside the case am not kin off. The radiator's job is of a heat exchanger and there is little cool air inside the case to do the exchanging.

Well, either way if its winter or not the computer sure does make it way to heat the room. In the hotter parts of the year, its impossible to use the pc.

I have just the thing:

I used to live in a top floor apartment with no insulation and a few weeks in the summer would get up to 90-100F, just turning on the TV would feel like adding fuel to the chimney. In those days, if I find myself not able to seek relieve elsewhere I just turn everything off, close the curtains to block sun's heat and just lay there with plenty ice water. :D
