So, AMD FX-6300 Vishera 6-Core 3.5GHz (cpu), ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0(motherboard), G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (ram), Thermaltake TR2 TR-500 500W ATX12V v2.3(psu), Seagate Barracuda ST1000DM003 1TB(hard drive), DIYPC Solo-T1-BK(case), MSI Radeon R9 390 8gb (beefy gpu). Just a conformation that this is a good build for its price(around $600 usd) would be great, and if any of these components are incompatible PLEZ let me know. Other than that any helpful advice on the build is welcome :)

Solution
That motherboard is not very good and that psu is terrible. The cpu would bottleneck a 390 too much.

You could do a lot better.

I'm planning on overclocking the cpu, from what I've heard theses cpus have some major overclock potential, if i got it up to something like 4ghz would it still bottleneck? Def agree about the psu, what brand do u suggest for a good power supply?

Yeah, i def agree, when i posted "ok thanks, i'll probly be going with a different psu, and mother board, but i'm still interested to know if 4 ghz+ could keep me from bottlenecking the gpu." His response had yet to show up, i'll refresh my browser next time lol

Oh, ok, yeah the vishera is definetly outdated, asking about it after you said it would be still bottleneck after the oc, was purely accidental, on my side your response had yet to show up, I switched out the psu, mobo, and cpu, from my original build with the parts you suggested, but if the i5 can keep up with the 390, then i'm just gonna go to a $650-$700 build.
